Arthroscopy
Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to repair a damaged joint. During the operation, the surgeon makes three small incisions and uses an arthroscope, or very small camera, to examine the joint and make any repairs necessary. The small incisions allow for a quicker recovery and return to normal activity for each patient.

  • Foot and Ankle: lateral ankle instability, Achilles tendonitis, ankle replacement, posterial tibial tendonitis, ankle arthritis, ankle cartilage injuries

ImPACT - Concussion Evaluation and Management
No athlete should ever return to sport or other at-risk activity when symptoms of concussion are present and recovery is ongoing.

But symptoms of concussion can be much harder to spot than the classic loss of consciousness and confusion. That is why The University of Arizona Medical Center - Sports Medicine Clinic employs the ImPACT concussion diagnosis tool. The advanced tool tests and measures patients cognitive ability at many different levels. Tests include reaction time, memory, attention and processing speed. This technology gives our physicians precise information as to the severity of the concussion and healing progress.

Orthotics and Bracing
Through elite care The University of Arizona Medical Center - Sports Medicine Clinic offers orthotics and braces for all ranges of sports related injuries to help provide one-stop-shopping for our patients.
