Purpose:          
In order to comply with ACGME requirements in critical care programs The University of Arizona/UPHK Graduate Medical Education Consortium

Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) sets forth this policy to govern the educational resources committed to critical care training programs and to ensure cooperation of all involved disciplines.

Procedure:   
The Internal Review will serve as the mechanism to review the educational resources of each critical care training program.  Educational resources including, but not limited to, patient care and research resources that are essential to the learning environment for critical care residents, will be assessed to ensure compliance with the applicable program requirements.
