Resident Counseling Services

To All Housestaff:

I am the housestaff counselor for residents and their families.  I can provide:

1. Counseling to help your residency and your life go well.

2.  Diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders.

3.  Couples or family counseling.

4.  Individual counseling for your spouse/significant other.

5.  I can work with you to arrange time off from your work when indicated.

6.  Occasionally I see a resident/fellow at the request of a department. 

A receptionist is available in my office from 8-5, Monday through Friday.  If you have an urgent need to speak with me, please tell the receptionist that you are a resident, that you need to speak to me ASAP, and tell her what is the best way for me to reach you.

My office is located on 6812 N. Oracle Road between Orange Grove and Ina.  The office is on the East side of the street and is part of "Casas Adobes Office Park."  The 6812 building is the first one on the right when you are entering the parking lot.

I will try to accommodate your schedule for appointments; I will work some Saturdays and will have appointments into the afternoon for those who need to round in the morning.
