Founded in 1994 by Dr. Andrew Weil, The University of Arizona Medical Center Integrative Medicine takes account of the whole person – body, mind and spirit – and includes all aspects of the patient’s lifestyle.  Integrative medicine physicians do not offer diagnostic services, but instead provide patients with access to a wide spectrum of conventional and alternative therapies for illnesses or disorders diagnosed by another provider.

As part of an education program within the University of Arizona's College of Medicine, the integrative medicine clinic also acts as training ground for the next generation of integrative medicine providers.
