High-Risk Breast and Ovarian Cancer Clinic: Multi-disciplinary prevention clinic for women with any history of or predetermination for breast or ovarian cancer.  The clinic offers the new breast cancer prevention drug, raloxifene.  Women who use the clinics services have the opportunity to participate in clinical and pre-clinical trials.

The University of Arizona Medical Center has expanded its oncology services to better meet the needs of the community at The University of Arizona Medical Center - Orange Grove Campus, 1891 W. Orange Grove Road.  Physicians in this clinic specialize in gastrointestinal diseases and minimally invasive surgical oncology.

Major Areas of Research

There are 60 research labs within The University of Arizona Cancer Center where The University of Arizona Medical Center hematology-oncologists conduct research to prevent and cure cancer.  On a molecular level, researchers are exploring the secrets hidden in DNA to pinpoint gene targets.  They are also aggressively conducting research to develop drugs that target cancer cells without damaging healthy tissue.
