UPH general surgeons specialize in minimally invasive procedures, primarily for problems of the abdomen, gastrointestinal tract, endocrine system, skin and soft tissue.  They have particular expertise in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) approaches to gallbladder disease, hernias and GI tract.  UPH general surgeons welcome referrals for complicated, reoperative surgical problems.
