Matthew B. Gretzer, M.D. Dr. Gretzer is the Director of the UPH Urologic Surgery Program and assistant professor of surgery/urology in the Division of Urology at The University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Gretzer came to Tucson from Baltimore, Maryland where he was an instructor of Urology at John Hopkins Hospital. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, and completed his urology and general surgery residencies at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Following residency, he remained at Johns Hopkins to complete advanced training in urologic reconstruction and robotic surgery.
Jonathan R. Walker, M.D. Dr. Walker is the Director of Urologic Oncology and assistant professor of clinical surgery in the Department of Surgery at The University of Arizona College of Medicine. His clinical specialties include prostate, bladder, kidney, testis and adrenal cancers. Dr. Walker completed his fellowship in urologic oncology at the National Institute of Health/National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his residency in urology at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he also earned his medical degree.

Amy Lynn Waer, M.D., F.A.C.S. Dr. Waer specializes in laparoscopic and breast surgery. She earned her medical degree from The University of Arizona and served her residency in general surgery at The University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. During her residency she received the Charles W. Putnam Award for the Surgical Chief Resident of the Year. In 2004, Dr. Waer returned to Arizona from Virginia where she had been in private practice for seven years. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Francisco Garcia, M.D., M.P.H. Dr. Garcia is an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, and medical director of the Women's Health & Resource Center. He is also the principal investigator for the Arizona Hispanic Center of Excellence, and deputy director and co-principal investigator of the University of Arizona National Center of Excellence in Women's Health. His clinical interests include advanced operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and colposcopy.
He received his medical training at The University of Arizona where he also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins University as an instructor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and completed post-graduate fellowship training in Women's Reproductive Health. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Ilana B. Addis, M.D., M.P.H. Dr. Addis is assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Addis went on to complete a woman's health clinical research fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery at the University of California, San Francisco.

Lesta Beattie-Manning, R.N., M.S. Ms. Beattie-Manning has worked in operating rooms for more than 28 years. She became a registered nurse in 1983 and earned her master's degree in nursing from the University of Arizona in 1995. Ms. Beattie-Manning has been at the Kino Campus since 1999 and is currently director of perioperative services. She was selected as one of Tucson's Fabulous Fifty Nurses by the Tucson Nurses Foundation in 2004.
Deb Childers, R.N., C.N.O.R. Ms. Childers has more than 12 years of experience as a circulating and charge nurse. Having graduated in 1993 with her A.D.N. from Pima Community College, she has been with UPH since 2004.
Ronda Lowther, C.S.T. Ms. Lowther has more than 15 years of experience. She received her training from an accredited surgical technologist program based at University Medical Center. She received her C.S.T. certification in 1999.
