Our residency programs give you the opportunity to gain individualized training in a highly supportive environment.  You will obtain exceptional experience from the skilled, talented faculty and the wide-ranging clinical services of The University of Arizona College of Medicine. This is complemented by the individual attention you can receive at a smaller community hospital – University Physicians Hospital Kino Campus.

Residents are based at University Physicians Hospital Kino Campus.  Recently renovated and updated, the hospital is a vibrant facility with 197 inpatient beds and a growing number of advanced medical and surgical services. Our on-campus multi-specialty clinics promote continuity of care for our patients as well as expand your experience to include helping people in an outpatient setting.

Rotations are available for residents interested in either generalist or specialty programs in many rural and medically underserved settings, often providing much needed care in Hispanic and Native American communities.  Residents may also rotate at The University of Arizona Medical Center - University Campus gaining a valuable experience in a tertiary care center which is also the only Trauma Center in Southern Arizona.

The University of Arizona/UPHK GME Consortium is accredited for six residency programs and one fellowship.  Please click on the links below to read more.
