Tucson Breast Center Mission Statement

The mission of the Tucson Breast Center is to provide a comprehensive and compassionate approach to a variety of breast-related concerns of both women and men in our community.  Our caring and efficient staff, including specialty-trained physicians and technologists, is committed to optimizing the early detection of breast cancer and effectively managing all breast-related problems according to the highest possible standards.  We do this while fostering a team approach with our referring providers and constantly striving to provide a comfortable and informative experience for our patients.

The Tucson Breast Center offers state-of-the-art GE Healthcare digital mammography with computer-aided detection of abnormalities. This latest technology provides sharper images enabling physicians to read and detect cancers earlier than ever before. The Tucson Breast Center was voted by patients as one of the 10 best imaging centers in the country from Medical Imaging Industries Top 10 best of the best  survey. We were also the first center to provide digital mammography in Southern Arizona and is a National Show Site for General Electric Imaging.

Mammograms Don’t Have to Be a Pain
Tucson Breast Center offers a kinder, gentler mammogram using the MammoPad ™. Designed by a female breast surgeon, this soft, warm foam pad serves as a cushion between you and the mammography machine. Clinical studies show that MammoPad reduces discomfort and cold, giving the majority of patients a much more comfortable procedure.

The Latest Bone Density Equipment
Also available at the Tucson Breast Center is the new DXA bone densitometer. This powerful new tool identifies bone loss in the most critical fracture sites. Examinations are comfortable, safe and usually last only minutes.
