Emil Annabi, MD
Dr. Annabi completed an extensive pain management fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Beth Israel Hospital. During this one-year fellowship, he trained under seven pain management specialists from the fields of neurology, psychiatry, orthopaedic surgery and anesthesiology. Performing thousands of treatments during this time, Dr. Annabi expertly treats patients with chronic pain stemming from a wide variety of diagnoses. Harvey W. Buchsbaum, MD
Dr. Buchsbaum is a board certified neurologist and a professor for the Department of Neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He earned his bachelor's degree from Hamilton College and then completed his MD, internship and first term residency at Albany Medical School. He completed his second term residency at the Neurological Institute of New York/Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Buchsbaum has been published numerous times and has research interests in spinal chord and peripheral neurology, Coccidioides Meningitis and neurological diagnosis.
Margaret M. Chilvers, MD
Dr. Chilvers is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona. She attended Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. She finished her education with a fellowship in foot and ankle medicine at the Michigan International Foot and Ankle Center. Dr. Chilvers worked as an athletic trainer with the UofA Athletics Department for three years before attending medical school. She now specializes in foot and ankle surgery and practices at the Green Valley Physician Clinics and the Sports Medicine Clinic located at South Campus.
Joel Funk, MD
Dr. Funk is a board eligible urologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona. He attended medical school at Northwestern University Medical School and completed his general surgery and urology residencies at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. Hemant Kudrimoti, MD, PhD
Dr. Kudrimoti is an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology at the University of Arizona, and is the Residency Program Director for the neurology residency program at the Arizona Health Sciences Center. A diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, he has been a faculty member in the Department of Neurology since 2004 and is actively involved in teaching of neurology trainees, medical students and nursing staff. Dr. Kudrimoti is a graduate of Grant Medical College, University of Mumbai, India, holds a master's degree in biomedical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India and has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Arizona. He completed his residency in Neurology and a fellowship in Epileptology also at University of Arizona.
L. Daniel Latt, MD, PhD
Dr. Latt is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Latt earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2002. He completed residency training in orthopaedic surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 2007. He has fellowship training in sports medicine from Kaiser San Diego, and foot and ankle surgery from Duke University.
John LaWall, MD
Dr. LaWall is a board certified neurologist with a subspecialty certification in headache medicine from the United Council on Neurological Subspecialties. He is also board certified in psychiatry and forensic psychiatry and is an assistant professor for the Department of Neurology and Pharmacy Practice & Science at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and directs the Headache Management Clinic at the Neurology Clinic located at The University of Arizona Medical Center - South Campus.
James McClenathan, MD
Dr. McClenathan is a general surgeon with more than thirty years of experience. He has expertise in both open and laparoscopic surgical techniques. He has interest in most aspects of general surgery ranging from care of hernias to abdominal, breast, endocrine and cancer surgery. He is one of only a few surgeons in Arizona to be board certified four times. Dr. "Mac" is an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Arizona and is proud to teach both surgical residents and medical students. Dr. McClenathan is a resident of Green Valley and is excited to serve his community at The University of Arizona Medical Center - Green Valley Physician Clinics.
Eugene Trowers, MD, MPH, FACP
Dr. Trowers was appointed Clinical Professor of Medicine, Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine, in November 2009. He obtained his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed his NIH extramural clinical research fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to joining the University of Arizona, Dr. Trowers was Assistant Dean in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee for seven years, during which time he served as founding regional Campus Dean and performed other administrative and medical education duties. Dr. Trowers research interests encompass colorectal cancer prevention, endoscopic techniques, and innovations in medical education. Dr. Trowers is currently writing a clinical GI Physiology Review book. He is a member of the AGA, ASGE and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
Celia Valenzuela, MD
Dr. Valenzuela is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Arizona and presently serves as Medical Director. She earned her medical degree at The University of Arizona where she received several honors and awards including Alpha Omega Alpha. Subsequently, she completed her internship and residency at the UA. Prior to medical school, she obtained a master's degree in neuroscience from the University of California, Irvine. Her research interests involve understanding the role that hormones play in brain function.
