The University of Arizona College of Medicine includes 19 departments and nine Centers of Excellence for specific research, clinical care, and teaching.

Throughout their studies, medical students have the opportunity to build and maintain close relationships with the college faculty – who are both accomplished physicians and researchers. Faculty often become professional mentors and personal role models for many students in the program.

The UA College of Medicine also provides comprehensive training programs for residents and clinical fellows as well as continuing education programs for practicing physicians and other health care professionals.
